Dr. Stephanie Aaron is the daughter of Ida Mitchell and the late Archie Hayes, and a native of Hampton, VA. She is the mother of three wonderful children; Starr, William, and Jonathan II, and two lovely grandsons, Ventwain Eason and Jayden Bonds.
Dr. Aaron was licensed to preach in March 2004 and ordained in February 2008, by Dr. Dwight Riddick, Pastor of Gethsemane Baptist Church. Pastor Aaron was assistant to Pastor R.T. Northam, Sr. She held leadership positions of increasing responsibility to include Women's Ministry Coordinator, Outreach Coordinator, as well as leading groups ministering to the elderly community.
GOD called Dr. Stephanie Aaron in November 2008 to be the pastor and founder of Marvelous Light Ministries in Hampton, VA. She hopes to lead the Marvelous Light Ministries family as that answer the mandate of GOD throughout the city of Hampton and the surrounding areas to advance the kingdom by ministering to the needs of the total man and woman.
Dr. Aaron is a graduate of Virginia Union University's Evan Smith Leadership Institute, sponsored by the Samuel Dewitt Proctor School of Theology, with a certificate in Biblical Studies. Dr. Aaron continued her education by earning the following degrees B.A. in Biblical Studies and a Masters in Christian Counseling degree with the academic distinction of Summa Cum Laude both from St. Timothy Theological Institute & Seminary, Inc. located in Indianapolis, Indiana. Dr. Aaron has an earned Doctorate of Ministry degree with the emphasis in Pastoral Counseling with a published dissertation titled "THE HOPE OF OUR ADOLESCENCE: The Social Ramifications of Sexual Abuse In And Out of The Church Childhood through Adulthood Effects" from St. Timothy Theological Institute & Seminary, Inc.
Dr. Aaron is currently an Adjunct Professor of Christian Counseling for Saint Timothy Theological Institute & Seminary, Inc. located in Indianapolis, Indiana.
In 2011, Dr. Aaron was appointed the State President of Women's Ministry for Virginia through Abundant Harvest Ministerial Alliance under the leadership of Apostle T.W. French, Sr., Ph.D.
January 2012, Dr. Aaron was elevated to the office of Bishop Elect and appointed to the position of 2nd Vice Prelate / International Vice Moderator of Showers of Blessings Ministries International under the leadership of Arch Bishop Dr. D.A. Miller (Roseville, MI)
The scriptural text that sums up her personal perspective to ministry is "I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who had given me strength, that He considered me faithful, appointing me to His service." 1 Timothy 1:12
