Do you a) write the actual way the dialect would be written or sound within the dialogue or do you b) just state prior to the dialogue that the character is either Creole, Irish, etc. One of my characters is a local New Orlenian/Creole woman and I wanted to bring this across. That's great that you've continued to work on your series. Do you have a publisher for it? I, too, am working on a series of chapter books for young middle grade readers. I've submitted the first manuscript to a few agents and publishers, but so far, no takers. In the meantime, I'll keep writing. I finished the first draft of the second book. Now to revise...

Hello everyone, this is a new venture for me. I just joined Book Marketing this morning and I can't wait to meet everyone. I am a newly published author of the book, Sullivan's Secret, which is a paranormal mystery. It will be released on June 1, 2011, but you can read the e-book on Kindle or Nook Book.
