Kita's Gentle Message: Another Marathon (Sat. June 23, 2012)

I’ve taken the plunge yet again – I’m running another marathon on September 30th in New York State. It’s called the Wine Glass Tour and yes, there’s plenty about it that is Cinderella-like: getting to the ball/the finish line will be every runner’s biggest wish. The ugly step-sisters of rolling hills will be a challenge and to prepare for them will take the next three months of hard training – scrubbing, cleaning, sweeping myself into shape for what awaits me. Not all is drudgery though. I will have the birds to keep me company on every exquisite summer morning that I get up to run.
